You should update the pic where the NPC is seen as it’s a bit outdated. The NPC is close though to the north.

You can found him at Prontera South Gate, he’s sleeping ( in between the nearest black circle on the map ) a lil lower from where you listening to music in south gate. The new update comes with a slightly different prontera south gate map.

Lightning chain doesnt take effect when you are not in combat. only when you are hitting monsters. but yes, cooking food for sp is efficient time wise, but then again, you’d use some zeny. If you’re a starting player, play dead would be far more cheaper and since its gonna be afk farming, its an “okay” method to do until they can afford to cook dtacks of meat.

play dead is waste too many time, i dont understand why you play dead while afk, unless you are very poor that you cant buy a stack of 1* food or you are really didnt have anything to do 😀

with lightning chain, to spend 300 min stamina is take around 2 1/2 hour to almost 3 hour at worst (only my estimation), and with play dead you will extend it to almost double, lol
