Do you always run out of SP whenever you are AFK farming in Ragnarok M: Eternal Love? Are potions too expensive for you, or warm dishes are not enough? Then this guide is for you!
Most people don’t know about this, but you can actually obtain a very useful skill called Play Dead from an NPC in South Prontera.
Just talk to this NPC in the middle part of South Prontera and he will teach you the skill.
How it works
Once you obtain the skill, you can access it through your Adventure Skills tab in your Skills window.
When you use Play Dead, your character will lie on the ground and regen 10% HP and SP every 5 seconds. Enemies will also stop attacking you so it’s great for escaping danger.
You can also put it on your auto-skill slot, so that whenever your character runs out of SP, he will immediately Play Dead on the ground to recover HP and SP for a few seconds. Once your HP and SP are full, your character will get back up again and continue attacking. It’s very useful for AFK farming especially if you run out of SP quickly!

play dead is waste too many time, i dont understand why you play dead while afk, unless you are very poor that you cant buy a stack of 1* food or you are really didnt have anything to do 😀
with lightning chain, to spend 300 min stamina is take around 2 1/2 hour to almost 3 hour at worst (only my estimation), and with play dead you will extend it to almost double, lol
Lightning chain doesnt take effect when you are not in combat. only when you are hitting monsters. but yes, cooking food for sp is efficient time wise, but then again, you’d use some zeny. If you’re a starting player, play dead would be far more cheaper and since its gonna be afk farming, its an “okay” method to do until they can afford to cook dtacks of meat.

i cant found that npc.. where to find that guy and its diffrent map too
You can found him at Prontera South Gate, he’s sleeping ( in between the nearest black circle on the map ) a lil lower from where you listening to music in south gate. The new update comes with a slightly different prontera south gate map.
I guess he’s really dead this time.
You should update the pic where the NPC is seen as it’s a bit outdated. The NPC is close though to the north.
